NJ just passed a law allowing medical Marijuana. It joined 13 other states to allow marijuana use for medical purposes. The question becomes how to regulate it. Each state is dealing with the use in different ways. There is the potential to tax and license people to distribute the marijuana. Five accused terrorists are about to go on trial in New York for their roles in the attacks on 9/11. The federal government is choosing to place them on trial in New York City. There are many questions that are raised about this issue. One of them is how to find an impartial jury.

In France, there is a law that is being proposed that would allow information about you online to be deleted. In the article, the law describes a law that would “force online and mobile firms to dispose of e-mails and text messages after an agreed length of time or on the request of the individual concerned.” The embarassing pictures and statements about you online could be erased? Sounds too good to be true. Remember this is in FRANCE not the United States. Everything is out there. What are you reactions to this proposed law? Do you want to see one like in the US.

The first friday in June is National Doughnut Day. The holiday began in 1938 as a fundraiser for the Chicago Salvation Army. The Salvation Army provided food to soldiers during World War I and helped ease hunger during the Great Depression. The purpose now is probably to get you to go into Dunkin Donuts and buy something.
