I disagree with this a lot. Also in the article it said that more women get Bachelor degrees and Masters, yes that is probably true but because women choose to do so. The group isn’t necessary.

i can understand why they would want to a male impowerment group, because of the job loss and things of that nature, but really? to say that women arent suffering the job loss affects such unbeleievable. the reason why women have more “men” like jobs is because they have been pushing for the same rights and respect of men for years and years! so i go both ways on this group,i think its good for the guys to have, but i also think its not worth it

i don’t see what the big deal is about the group it’s nothing bad really it is just a bunch of guys that get together that want to learn from ohert successful men new and old. in don’t think that there is any thing wrong with this and people need to lay off the criticism there just a bunch of college students trying to have some fun.

This isn’t a big deal. They made a group, they didn’t go around saying mean thing that could hurt anyone. All different people are in groups, wether its a sports group or something else, so why can’t there be a men’s group. I bet you, if there was a women’s group, no one would say anything about it.

I think some men will just agree with this group just because their men without even knowing the realy meaning and reasoning for the group. Its not that im against the group, i just think that if there were a womens group it would either be no big deal or too much of a big deal.

See now something like this is stupid. Because 1. It made no sense to me at all….2. Men and women are equal so why should men get more power? Like i said it didnt make sense to me so who knows whats going to happen. Not to mention this is gonna start drama think about it…. trying to make men more powerful? yeah thats got drama written all over it…..

i think that some more women stay more focused then men on what they want to do. many women fight for their rights and are strong minded, but to say that job losses are hurting men more is really untrue. women and men both are suffering… women can just handle it better.

i think its a bunch of guys think the women are gonna gain control in life..they realized that girls are getting masters and bachelors and doing very well. all these men wanna get focus and attention on them when they do well.

I honestly don’t think it is as big of a deal as people are making it. It is a group to help men do better in life. It isn’t like they are doing anything to harm people purposely.

I think that by now women should be allowed to do what they want. They are smart and should be able to pursue other jobs. If some one wants to get extra schooling so be it. One group of people cants stop that.

I dont think it has much to do with gender, but women do have more drive than guys, so it isnt related to gender… it has more to do with motivation. if you want to do better, you\’d join the group, but you\’d also have tried to motivate yourself.

I think this group is lame. It’s unnecessary because women are effected by the job loss just as much as men. I think that many men are insulted by the fact that women are climbing further up the career ladder than they are.

This group is so unnecessary, men and women are created equally, therefore they should be treated the same. I understand that men are loosing their jobs but so are women. Just as men, women work their hearts out. In life, if you want to succeed then you must have self confidence and self motivation. A women can do anything a man can do.

This article can go back many years ago to segregation of men and women. Creating this group seemed like they were only starving for attention, and wanting to be better than women. Living in today’s society where men and women are said to be seen as equals, this group has absolutely no purpose.

I think this group in necessary but also unnecessary.. Why? Because women are just as equal as men, and there are women groups/studies throughout all colleges, etc. Also, unnecessary because men have more job opportunities and more power and men don’t need the extra power.
