Do you know anything about Eritrea?
The small country of Eritrea has a population of approximately 5.5 million. It has strict regulations on the media. Read about some of the world issues that have pushed Eritrea into the news. Comment about this country.

i think that the us should try to help the people in the country and stop the weapons that are being sold to al queada. the should also help the government stop being so controlling and help them set up a democracy but i don’t think that our military should get involved. i do think though that we should do something about the weapons and at least offer our help to set up a democracy.

i do not want to say anything bad about a country that i have never heard of, but after reading the article i don’t know whether to think it is a good country or a bad one. the only way to make me think it is bad is that it has been accused of supplying the united states enemy’s with money and weapons. other than that i have no other opinions to this country because is wants its privacy and that isn’t so bad.

I think the US should just leave them alone and we should worry about our problems and not others. If people in Eritrea think they are fine the way they are then let them stay that way.

I think that 1. it’s weird that I have never in my life heard of this country let alone it’s problems and 2. this shows that this country does not have enough importance to the United States, and I don’t think that they suddenly should because they are having internal problems. The U.S. should not get involved because we are involved in enough countries problems that actually want out help and Eritera obviously doesn’t. It would be a waste of time, money, and troops to get involved.

It annoys me greatly on how much effort, time, money and everything we put into other countries. Even countries no one knows about. If Eritrea thinks they’re doing fine, then what gives us any right to help them?

the US really shouldnt all out go and think about harming a small country i think the only reason theyre selling weapons is because they need to find ways to have money and make it as a country. theyre just doing anything they can to make money because not every county is as big or rich as the US. i do think that the us needs to watch it though and make sure the weapon selling stops. dont harm the people, but stop the threat

I think that the US should only help when it is really needed. It seems to me that they have no real proof that they are suplying weapons and other things. The US should step back for now and once they see a real problem then they should step in but also respect them.

Its not our problem we have problems ourselves that we need to work on we should only help people that are realy in need like in haiti. and the only thing that we are going to do is cause problems and get ourselves into trouble

Well im sure the USA knows better than any of us posting comments does on the subject. im all for the USA and if they are going in, theres a legitament reason. Plus we always win so therres no reason for the thought of a loss.

The U.S. just has to mind their own business.. honestly, there is no reason to get involved with other countries, they could deal with their own problems, and the U.S. could deal with their own.

I think the US worries way to much of all of other countries when were suffering here. people are loseing everything and it’s not right how were suffering but yet we give money out to people like theres nothing wrong here. it bothers me. They should make sure our country is good before we help other countries.

i think that the US should leave them alone, but only use them when needed in situations. it doesnt look like there is any proof of the weapons. in my opinion; just leave them alone until something actually happeneds

the united states shouldn’t get involved. I have never heard of this country. We waste so much money on other countries when it would help us greatly if we used it for ours.

I think the US should just leave them alone and step in when needed. We dont know for a fact that there supplying are enemys with weapons,but i still think we should leave them alone until we have actuall evidence
