Mrs. O’Donnell’s Blog Instructions

One of the tools available on the internet is a blog. Lakeland Central Schools now has the capability to host blog. This page will walk you through the process of accessing and participating in Mrs. O'Donnell's Blog.

How to Access Mrs. O'Donnell's Blog
Go to:

How to Register
All first time users MUST register.
  • Click on the "Register" link under "Login."
  • Create a username, i.e. first initial and last name with no spaces
  • Type in your “Email address.”
  • Click the “Register” button (At this time a password will be emailed to you.It will take about 1 minute for the password to come to your via e mail.)
  • The “Register Complete” screen appears.
  • Type in your username and password.
  • Click on the “Login” link.
  • The blog web site opens to the profile page.
  • On this page you may change your password. Use a password you will remember but do not share it with others.
  • Click on "Login" under the "Login" heading
  • Type in your username and password.
  • The Profile Page will open.
  • To begin by posting a comment, click on the “View site” link located at the top of the screen.
  • The most recent post will appear first on the screen. To respond to Mrs. O’Donnell’s post click on the word “Comment” under the post.
  • Respond to Mrs. O’Donnell’s post in the space provided.
  • When finished typing your post, click on the “Submit Comment” button.
  • Don’ t forget to Logout. The “Logout” link is located under the “Login.”
  • Mrs. O’Donnell will be notified via email that you have responded to her post and she will post your response to the blog within 48 hours.
  • Don’t forget to come back to visit the blog to read your response and other students’ responses.


Revisiting the blog:
  • Go to Mrs. O'Donnell's Blog
  • Click on the “Login” link under the “Login.”
  • Type in your username and password.
  • Click on the “Login” link. The blog web site opens to the profile page.
  • To begin your chat with Mrs. O’Donnell (posting a comment) click on the “View site” link located at the top of the screen. The most recent post will appear first on the screen.
  • To respond to Mrs. O’Donnell’s post click on the word “Comment.”
  • Respond to Mrs. O’Donnell’s post in the space provided. When finished typing your post, click on the “Submit Comment” button.
