I was not aware that this effort was underway and I appreciate the work of those who made it happen. Our men and women in uniform today are doing terrific work under some extremely challenging conditions. I've worn the uniform now for over 37 years and have never been prouder of our contributions than I am today. As an Army we've been defending this Nation for 230 years and we've never failed. Given the talent we have in our ranks today, we never will. thanks for the wonderful support and God bless you.

I saw the heart signs, and they touched my heart. As a former soldier the war on terror and the actions in the Middle East deeply affect me. Most of my fellow soldiers have retired and now it is our children in harm’s way. Thank you for the touching tribute to all of our service members. You have done a commendable job honoring the military. Thank you again, you have made me so proud of my old alma mater.

I think your class did a great thing for our troops and keep up the good work, and your web site is just great. I have sent it to my son in Iraq, who knows maybe he will meet some troops from Lakeland New York over there and can share it.

Recently I was in town and saw the hearts. I thought they were a wonderful idea to help show support for those serving their country. I think it is a wonderful idea. Thank you for initiating such a touching project and showing that patriotism is still alive.

Sincerely,

I like to take this time to thank all of our military personnel not only those who are serving in the War on Terrorism, but to all who are serving our country for freedom. Again, thank you and may you all make it back home safely.

This web site is awesome ! As a veteran I can appreciate the sacrifice and honor the military gives us 24 hours a day 7 days a week. They keep us secure and safe and this should never be taken for granted.

I'm glad to see schools finally supporting the children who not only go to their schools, but help protect the freedom of all of those in the United States. I wish I saw some of this going on in the high schools in my area. I am really happy that Lakeland has taken the time to honor those students who deserve it.

Your site is wonderful. Although I am not from your area, I am a soldier who is proud to have served with General Kevin Byrnes and Major Paul Brian Walton. They are both outstanding leaders and soldiers in the Army. It is obvious that where they come from has something to do with where they are going.

Again, thanks for your great support of our military.
