Lakeland High School's Vetern Flag
Veteran's Flag

In January 2005, David Winter (LHS 2000) brought the American Flag from Lakeland High School to Baghdad, Iraq. Members of the Third Infantry Division, Scout Platoon, Task Force 4-64 Armor signed the flag. Every Lakeland High School Graduate who is a veteran of the conflicts in Afghanistan and Iraq are invited to sign the flag. Drag your mouse over the flag to read the signatures. The flag appears to be "backwards" but in fact mirrors the way the US Flag is sewn onto a soldier's uniform. "Ever advancing and never retreating."

Those alumni of LHS who have served in the current conflct are invited to contact Mrs. O'Donnell to sign the flag.
