WHAT YOU SHOULD DO

1

In your group, determine an order of who will go to the computer for on-line research. Also determine which members of the group will be in charge of which element of civilization for constructing your final product.

2

The first person will go to the computer, log on, and go to the first web site of your assigned river valley civilization. There you will gather as much information about the elements of civilizations as possible. REMEMBER NOT ALL ELEMENTS WILL BE PRESENT ON ALL WEB SITES. Each person will go to a different web site with the group working its way down the column of sites.

3

While one person is on the computer working, the remaining students in the group should be researching using the teacher provided research.

4

As each student returns to the group with his/her on-line information, a new person goes to the computer and the research is shared.

5

As more students return to the group, individuals should begin designing their element of information.

6

When the on-line research is complete, students should one by one, return to the computer to construct their web page or powerpoint slide for the final presentation.

7

The group will present their completed project.
