Have you caught The Quarter Craze? State Quarter Survey

During our ThinkQuest USA meetings, we would talk about which quarter was our favorite and why. We thought it would be fun to ask the 4th and 5th grade students which was their favorite quarter. We asked them to pick one quarter from the five quarters introduced during 1999, 2000, and 2001. What is your favorite 1999 state quarter? New Jersey and Georgia are the most popular 1999 quarters at our school. A little over a third of the 4th grade students' favorite quarter is New Jersey at 35% (26 students) and a little less than a third of the 5th grade students' favorite is Georgia at 28% (19 students.) In both grades the students' favorites make up over 50% of the total.
