Have you caught The Quarter Craze? State Quarter Survey

What is your favorite 2001 state quarter? We are New Yorkers, so it is with great pride that our state was overwhelmingly the favorite! The New York State Quarter was favored in both grades by over 60%.  Fifty 4th grade students and forty-three 5th grade students chose New York.  We have concluded that the other four states would have done better if they were not introduced the same year as New York.  We think that if New York was introduced in 1999 or 2000 it would have been the overwhelming favorite among our students.  The four other state quarters received only single digit votes. The only tie was in 5th grade with Kentucky and Vermont at 9% or 6 students in each grade.
